Usage Policy

Last updated September 28, 2026

This Usage Policy explains what you can and can't do with overOne. It is part of our Terms of Service and uses the same definitions. If this page and the Terms ever disagree, the Terms apply.

In short: use overOne to promote your own business honestly, follow each platform's rules, and don't use automation to spam or deceive people.

1. Your accounts
  • Only connect social accounts you own or are authorised to manage.
  • Don't use fake, bought, farmed or bot accounts, or accounts created to get around a platform ban.
  • Keep your overOne login to yourself and the people you authorise. You're responsible for what happens under it.
2. Content you publish

You are responsible for everything you post through overOne, including content it generates for you and then you choose to publish. Review it before it goes out. Don't publish content that:

  • is illegal, or infringes someone's copyright, trademark, privacy or publicity rights;
  • is false or misleading about your product, including fake reviews, fake results, invented statistics or claims you can't back up;
  • is hateful, harassing, threatening, violent, sexually explicit, or exploits or targets minors;
  • promotes regulated goods or services (for example weapons, drugs, gambling or financial products) where the law or the platform doesn't allow it;
  • is political campaign content, or impersonates a person, brand or organisation.

If you use health, finance or legal claims, you are responsible for making sure they're accurate and carry any disclosures the law or the platform requires. If a post is a paid partnership or ad, label it as the platform requires.

3. The overOne media libraries

Your plan lets you use the human UGC, AI UGC, meme, music and background libraries inside content you publish through overOne to promote your own business. You may not:

  • download and resell, redistribute or share the raw library clips, images or tracks;
  • use library assets to train AI models;
  • present people in library clips as your customers, employees or endorsers, or put words in their mouth that suggest they personally recommend your product;
  • present AI-generated characters as real people;
  • use library assets in adult, defamatory, political or unlawful content.

Some music requires attribution; overOne shows it where it applies, and you must not remove it.

4. Automations, DMs and replies

Automations act as you. Set them up the way you'd want a person on your team to behave:

  • Only message people who have contacted you or commented, within each platform's messaging rules (for example Meta's 24-hour window). Don't use overOne for cold or bulk unsolicited messages.
  • Don't write replies or DMs designed to trick people, harvest their personal data, or push them to unsafe links.
  • Keep automated volume reasonable. overOne applies caps; don't try to get around them with extra automations or accounts.
  • Buying, selling or trading engagement (follows, likes, comments, views) is not allowed.
5. API keys and AI agents

Anything an AI agent or script does with your API key or a connection you approved counts as done by you, and this whole policy applies to it.

  • Keep API keys secret. Don't put them in code you share, public repositories or chats. If a key leaks, revoke it straight away in Profile.
  • Give each agent only the permissions it needs. Review what an agent will post before allowing it to publish on your behalf.
  • Don't use the API to get around plan limits, rate limits or platform rules, or to download the overOne libraries in bulk.
6. The Service itself

Don't probe, scan, attack or overload overOne; bypass plan limits, rate limits or security; scrape the Service or its libraries; reverse-engineer it; or use it to build a competing product.

7. What happens if this policy is broken

We may remove content, pause automations, disconnect accounts, or suspend or close your account, depending on how serious the problem is. Where we can, we'll tell you what happened and give you a chance to fix it. Platforms can also act on their own under their rules, and we can't reverse their decisions.

8. Reporting a problem

To report content made with overOne that breaks this policy, or to ask a question about it, email support@overone.app.
